This interests me very much.
I think I'd like to dabble in it... just a bit.
None of it seems evil... like, say, black magic... but it definitely seems worth trying for those of a spiritual nature. Even if things like this don't exist, I believe in the spiritual boost it gives you when you believe it works.
Either way, interesting to take a gander at.

NOTE: if you're impatient, just skip down to the part that says "Step One"

Not to digress or anything, but isn't the Necronomicon supposed to be an ancient, evil book full of dark magic and necromancy?

It has several evil aspects, yes.
It is supposedly the driving force that caused all the evil in the Evil Dead trilogy.
But it's got other stuff. All these spells are generally benevolent.
