| That's going to be my title everytime, btw. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - In order to move on, you have to take a step- correct? For awhile now I've been thinking that there's a step I've missed avoided, or have just came up to. And I can't go on without completing it at some point. Is this a fair assessment? Just feels like there's something missing. Or even, a part of me I have no idea who she is. I've just had this feeling for a couple months now. It's just been proding at me more lately. Maybe it's cause I'm -totally- getting older?

Of course it's a fair assessment. How -can- you move forward without taking a step? Maybe you haven't missed the step, so much as avoided it?

Ah. Thank you. That is a much better word. I couldn't think of that one at the moment. Totally going to edit that in right now...

Everybody has steps they have to take in life. Everyone's steps are different though, so this isn't a question I could help you with. This really sounds like a problem only you can solve. In my honest oppinion, everything tends to work itself out in the long run no matter how much we try to fight it.

I've only -really- avoided it... maybe twice. Most of the time it was just something I did not want. @ Teettot: Yeah, well, this step happens to involve a normal human emotion. Which I tend to just shove aside in the serious sense. I do believe it'll work out in the end though :3

As long as it works out in the long run everything is good right?

Sometimes, things have to happen. Just don't let the things define you, let how you deal with them do it!

So Courtnah, what do you usually do when someone shows an interest in you, or better yet, when you have an interest (at least mild interest) in them? Run me though your situation. The Love Doctor is in the house!

When I like someone I usually avoid a lot of eye contact. I mean, I already avoid eye contact with people.. But it's like worse if I like someone. I'll take a glance for a second, but I'll suddenly look away. Almost as if I just got slapped or something. I think it's my way of telling myself, "NO. BAD GIRL. SIT." As for my situation. It's pretty complicated. Edit: Which I'll stop talking about now! I've got plenty of advice at this point! Thanks everyone! So how was all you peoples first relationship experiences?

Surprising. We were on first date at movies, talking, and she grabs face and shoves tongue in throat! We stayed this way for the entire film. To this day, I have no clue wtf the movie was about.

I can't relate to any of this...I've never been in a relationship. I've never even kissed anyone. It's pretty sad, but I don't like to do anything if I'm not certain that it will work out well. Sadly, I don't know if I can ever overcome my fear of rejection.
