Okay, so back when I was 16- my grandma gave me a job at the Chronicle.
She's a supervisor for the mail room, and I was really wanting a job.
Well, it's been 4 years since then. And there's a few things I'm tired of.
1. Newspapers
2. Being around family
3. Not getting -real- work experience
Not to mention it's not exactly good for my health. (You know, the UC)
It's a job that involves constantly moving, and lifting about half the time.
My dad has been pushing me to resign for months now...
I've got tons of money set back. And he said he'd give me money anytime I needed.
I'm also wanting to get out... like 3 states. I want real work experience.
So I'm really thinking of quiting. And once school is over, I wish to try to get a job at Walmart or Walgreens.
Perhaps even Dollar General. Something of that nature. Ugh. I'd love to work at a bakery -drool-
But yeah. Any thoughts on my decision to quit?
